HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-565RESOLUTION NO. 92-565 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT 1992 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM CITY PROJECT NO. 201 WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: Certain streets in Maintenance Districts 1, 2, 8, and 9 as designated in the 1991 Pavement Management Biennial update by the reconstruction of bituminous streets and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $1,585,000 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $220,412 so the total cost of the improvement will be $1,805,412 and of this cost the City will pay $1,240,794.80 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $564,617.20. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement against 3very accessible lot, piece of parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the Council thereof. Adopted by the City Council on September 21, 1992
