HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-530CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-530 TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 54TH AVENUE AT NORTHWEST BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the construction of Northwest Boulevard has been completed from Pineview Lane southerly to 54th Avenue in the Bass Lake Heights 4th Addition; and WHEREAS, that segment of Northwest Boulevard continuing southerly across the Soo Line Railroad has not yet been completed which will provide continuity for Northwest Boulevard between County Road 9 and County Road 10; and WHEREAS, the remaining segments of Northwest Boulevard are scheduled as part of the City's Capital Improvement Program for completion in 1993; and WHEREAS, traffic on the dead-end of Northwest Boulevard may use 54th Avenue as an outlet to Pineview Lane through the residential area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That a temporary barricade shall be installed on 54th Avenue at Northwest Boulevard which will prevent traffic from either entering or exiting Northwest Boulevard from 54th Avenue in the Bass Lake Heights 4th Addition. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED: That the temporary barricade shall be removed at the time Northwest Boulevard is completed across the Soo Line Railroad southerly of 54th Avenue.
