Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
18th day of December, 1969.
The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
Hintz, Johnson and Kindseth. Councilman Humphrey was absent.
Councilman Hintz introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69-473
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
It is the expression of the Council that one additional
paid holiday be given to the Village employees for the
year of 1969, to be taken on December 26, 1969 or
January 2, 1970.
Said holidays are given to express the Council's gratitude
to the employees for the fine job they have done in
assuming additional responsibility during the transition
period of the past year.
The implementation of said resolution shall rest with
Lhe Acting Clerk -Administrator
It was further stipulated that in the event an employee
must work on both days, the Department Head will report
such a situation to the Acting Clerk -Administrator and
a decision will be made as to the date the employee would
be given off later, based on eight hours or one day.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Mayor Hilde and upon vote taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson and Kindseth.
No one voted against.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the foregoing extract of minutes of a special meeting of the
Village Council of said Village held December 18, 1969, with the original
thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete
transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such clerk and the corporate seal
of the Village this 19th day of December, 1969.
