HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-444CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 92-444 APPROVING A SITE PLAN, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND VARIANCE FOR NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY LOCATED NORTH OF MEDINA ROAD ON THE EAST SIDE OF COUNTY ROAD 101 SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 55 (92051) WHEREAS, Northern States Power Company has requested approval for a Site Plan, Conditional Use Permit and Variance for a substation for property located north of Medina Road on the east side of County Road 101 south of Highway 55; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Northern States Power Company for a Site Plan, Conditional Use Permit and Variance for a substation for property located north of Medina Road on the east side of County Road 101 south of Highway 55, subject to the following conditions: I. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Payment of park dedication fees -in -lieu of dedication in accordance with the Dedication Policy in effect at the time of building permit issuance. 3. An easement for a 30 -foot wide trail per Comprehensive Park Plan, as verified by the Parks and Engineering Departments. 4. Compliance with Policy Resolution 79-80 regarding minimum floor elevations for new structures on sites adjacent to, or containing any open storm water drainage facility. 5. Submission of required financial guarantee and Site Performance Agreement for completion of site improvements within 12 months. 6. Any signage shall be in compliance with the Zoning Ordinance. 7. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. 8. Compliance with the Ordinance regarding the location of fire hydrants and fire lanes. 9. No outside storage is permitted. • Resolution No. 92-444 10. No building permit to be issued until the Lot Division is filed with Hennepin County. 11. A Variance is granted for a 15 foot setback from the drive aisle to the property line versus the 30 feet required in the FRD District and for lot area of less than 20 acres. 12. A Conditional Use Permit is approved for a 47 foot lightning rod pole. Adopted by the City Council on August 3, 1992. (res/cc/92051.sp) -
