HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-439Jim Willis has resigned from his position as Plymouth City
Manager. He has, however, graciously agreed to continue to
serve the City as a transition advisor to the City Council and
City Attorney for a period of up to an additional six months.
We all wish Jim the best for the future and we thank him on
behalf of the City Council and the City for his many years of
service and for his many noteworthy accomplishments and
contributions. Therefore, I move the following RESOLUTION:
RESOLUTION NO. 92-439
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLVED that Jim Willis' resignation as Plymouth City
Manager is accepted; and
FURTHER RESOLVED that the Agreement executed by Jim Willis
today be agreed to and accepted by the City Council and the
Mayor be directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the
City; and,
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Frank Boyles be and hereby is
appointed as acting City Manager; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Frank Boyles and his staff are
directed to supply the City Council with proposals of service
from several alternative employment advisors, one of whom could
be retained to assist the City Council in soliciting and
receiving applications for the new City Manager.
