HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-436CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-436 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 3 AND FINAL C.S.A.H. 10 AND NATHAN LANE TRAFFIC SIGNAL CITY PROJECT NO. 812 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Design Electric, Inc. as contractor, have entered into an agreement for C.S.A.H. 10 and Nathan Lane, City Project No. 812, said agreement being dated October 29, 1990; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified acceptance of the work and approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $54,179. No change orders were requested and the value of the work to date is $55,009.45 and is herewith approved. This project overran the contract amount by $830.45 or 1.5z. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for C.S.A.H. 10 and Nathan Lane and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the amount of $7,447.70 to Design Electric, Inc. for C.S.A.H. 10 and Nathan Lane traffic signal is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
