HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1969-469VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 15th day of December 15, 1969. The following members were present: !Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Humphrey, Hintz, Johnson and Kindseth. No one was absent. Councilman Johnson left the Council chambers at 8:00 P.M. Councilman Humphrey introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69-469 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for one (1) new 25,500 Lb. G.V.W. Cab b Chassis bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. Bidder Amount of Total Bid Midway Ford 1850 University Ave. St. Paul, Minn. $4,780.00 Westdale Ford i' 1805 E. Wayzata Blvd. Wayzata, Minn. $4,892.87 Anoka International Sales Highway 10 West Anoka, Minn. $5,273.90 WHEREAS, it appears that Midway Ford of 1850 University Ave., St. Paul, j Minn. is the lowest responsible bidder. i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF -1 PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Midway Ford of St. Paul, Minn. in the name of the Village of Plymouth for the purchase of a 1970 Model F750 25,500 G.V.W. Truck according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Acting Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. Page 2 Resolution 069-369 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Humphrey, Hintz and Kindseth. No one voted against. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOLTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk - Administrator of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said village held December 15, 1969, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
