RESOLUTION NO. 92-417
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 2 AND FINAL
CLEANING, REPAIRING AND PAINTING
ZACHARY LANE WATER TOWER
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Odland Protective Coatings,
Inc., as contractor, have entered into an agreement for cleaning,
repairing and painting of the Zachary lane Water Tower, said agreement
being dated April 1, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified acceptance of the work and approval of
the final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
I. That the original contract amount was $482,600, three
change orders were approved in the amount of $5,280 and
the value of the work completed was $487,880.
2. That the work performed by the Contractor for cleaning,
repairing, and painting of the Zachary Lane Water Tower
and certified to the Council by the engineer as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the
contract except as to the conditions of the performance
bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required
guarantees and correction of faulty work after final
payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of
$29,410 to Odland Protective Coatings, Inc. for
cleaning, repairing, and painting of the Zachary Lane
Water Tower is hereby approved and the City Finance
Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the
same forthwith.
