RESOLUTION NO. 92-415
DECLARING A NATURAL PRESERVE ON PORTIONS
OF LOTS 8 THROUGH 13 - HERITAGE WOODS ESTATES
WHEREAS, Plymouth City Code Section 810, provides that all noxious weeds and
vegetation exceeding 8 inches in height must be eradicated; and
WHEREAS, the Council may declare a natural preserve which would authorize
property owners to exceed the 8 inch vegetation height maximum, provided that no
noxious weeds are present; and
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the affected property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does:
1. Declare portions of Heritage Woods Estates, lots 8 through 13 as a natural preserve
in accordance with Plymouth City Code Section 810, as recommended in the staff
report dated June 24, 1992, provided however, that the property owners will be
responsible for eliminating all noxious weeds from the area so designated; and
2. That regular maintenance will continue to be provided to those areas between the
trail and Northwest Boulevard curb and a six foot section on the immediate east side
of the trail.
