APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
NORTHWEST BOULEVARD/SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD
STREET, UTILITY, AND TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 011
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on September 10, 1990,
the City's Consulting Engineer, Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc., has prepared plans
and specifications for the improvement of Northwest Boulevard from 45th Avenue
to Schmidt Lake Road and Schmidt Lake Road from Northwest Boulevard to
Pineview Lane by the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, a
52 foot wide bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and an eight foot
wide bituminous trail and has presented such plans and specifications to the
Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA;
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement
under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published twice, shall specify the work
to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City
Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 1992, at which
time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of
the Plymouth City Center Building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will
be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of
the amount of such bid.
