RESOLUTION NO. 92-372
AUTHORIZING THE PARTICIPATION IN THE
1993 SUBURBAN RATE AUTHORITY (SRA)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, together with other metropolitan area municipalities
participates in the Suburban Rate Authority; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Suburban Rate Authority is to inquire into rate
increases requested by various utilities; and
WHEREAS, through such inquiries the Suburban Rate Authority has saved Plymouth
property owners and utility users substantial amounts in rates which would otherwise
have been charged if requested rate increases had been granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does,
authorize Plymouth's continued participation in the Suburban Rate Authority for
calendar year 1993 in the amount of $4,125; and
FURTHER, that the Finance Director is hereby authorized to expend this amount for
membership in the Suburban Rate Authority.
