HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-302CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-302 APPROVING SUPPORT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A REGIONAL TRAIL FROM FRENCH REGIONAL PARK TO THEODORE WIRTH REGIONAL PARK WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth supports the construction of a regional trail from French Regional Park to Theodore Wirth Regional Park, and WHEREAS, the City has received petitions from residents living along the east side of Medicine Lake asking that this trail be constructed, and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has purchased land in an effort to make it available to Hennepin Parks for inclusion in the regional trail, NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLYlOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Hennepin Parks District is strongly encouraged to develop a trail plan for the construction of a regional trail from French Regional Park to Theodore Wirth Regional Park, and further, this plan should be completed as soon as possible in order to coincide with the upgrading, of East Medicine Lake Boulevard.
