RESOLUTION NO. 92-1()(
DECLARING PROPERTY SURPLUS AND
AUTHORIZING SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, during the reconstruction of the intersection of Northwest Boulevard and
47th Avenue North, 47th Avenue was made to intersect Northwest Boulevard at a right
angle for safety reasons; and
WPEREAS. the original location of 47th Avenue North angling to the south was no
longer needed for 47th Avenue North; and
WHEREAS, the adjacent property owner has agreed to grant at no cost to the City an
easement for street and utility purposes over the west 17 feet of his property in
return for the City conveying to him the unneeded portion of 47th Avenue North;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: As follows:
1. That the following described property is hereby declared surplus
property: that part of Tract A, Registered Lane Survey No. 466,
Hennepin County, MN lying southerly of the south right-of-way line of
47th Avenue North as described in Document No. 1751926 on file and of
record in the Office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin
County. Minnesota. except the west 54 feet thereof.
2. That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute a deed
transferring ownership of said property to the owner of the immediate
adjacent property (Tract G. Registered Lane Survey No. 466, Hennepin
County, Minnesota).
3. That the property shall be combined with Tract G, Registered Land Survey
No. 466. to form one tax parcel.
