RESOLUTION NO. 92-270
PLYMOUTH CIVIC LEAGUE - PAYMENT OF SECOND HALF
OF 1992 CITY CONTRIBUTION
WHEREAS, the 1992 Recreation Fund budget provides for an
appropriation of $9,000 in support of the Plymouth Civic League
"Music in Plymouth" program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, during the 1992 budget study sessions
indicated that one half of the City's annual contribution coula
be made upon request of the Plymouth Civic League, but that the
balance not be made until such time as it is authorized by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council expressed concern that the Plymouth
Civic League should endeavor to provide greater recognition to
the City of Plymouth, given the magnitude of the City's
contribution in support of the Music in Plymouth program; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the efforts of the
Plymouth Civic League in seeking to expand the recognition and
support of the City's contribution to the Music in Plymouth
program are satisfactory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Manager be authorized
to disburse to the Plymouth Civic League, $4,500, representing
the City's second half contribution to the Plymouth Civic
League's "Music in Plymouth" program; and
FURTHER, that the efforts of the Plymouth Civic League to provide
greater recognition and acknowledgment of the City's contribution
to support the Music in Plymouth program are acknowledged.
