RESOLUTION NO. 92- 265
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT,
ESTABLISHING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO 108, AUTHORIZING STAFF TO
NEGOTIATE A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK FOR
COST SHARING AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO NEGOTIATE THE PURCHASE OF
PERMANENT RIGHT -OF -KAY FOR GEOMETRIC IMPROVEMENTS AND A
TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM AT THE FORD ROAD/SHELARD PARKWAY INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth has received a report
from the City Engineer of the City of St. Louis Park related to the
geometric and traffic signal improvements at the Ford Road/Shelard
Parkway intersection as specified under Project No's 85-32 and 87-28 (St.
Louis Park) and Project No. 108 (Plymouth).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH. MINNESOTA, THAT:
1. The City Engineer's Report regarding the proposed
geometric and traffic signal system improvements at the
Ford Road/Shelard Parkway intersection as specified under
Project No's 85-32 and 87-28 (St. Louis Park) is hereby
accepted.
2. The proposed project, designated as Project No. 108
(Plymouth) is hereby established.
3. It hereby authorizes staff to negotiate a cooperative
agreement with the City of St. Louis Park for sharing
project costs.
4. It hereby authorizes staff to negotiate the purchase of
permanent right-of-way within the City of Plymouth to
accommodate the project.
