RESOLUTION NO. 92-263
REQUESTING !MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO
CONDUCT SPEED ZONING STUDY - NORTHWEST BOULEVARD
WHEREAS. Northwest Boulevard has recently been reconstructed and widened
from two lanes to four lanes; and
WHEREAS, traffic continues to increase on Northwest Boulevard due to
adjacent developments accessing Northwest Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the existing speed limit of 50 miles per hour on Northwest
Boulevard north of County Road 9 should now be reviewed due to the street
improvements and additional traffic.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City requests the Minnesota Department of
Transportation to undertake an Engineering Study to determine the safe
and reasonable speed on the following road:
Northwest Boulevard from County Road 9 to 45th Avenue
