RESOLUTION 110. 92- 144
APPROVING CONCEPT PLAN
HIGHWAY 55 AT XENIUM LANE/NORTHWEST BOULEVARD (COUNTY ROAD 61)
S.P. 2723-87
WHEREAS, improvements are necessary at the intersection of Highway 55 and
Xenium/Northwest Boulevard (County Road 61) to provide for the orderly
movement of traffic; and
WHEREAS. additional traffic will be generated by the continued
development of the Northwest Business Campus and this intersection
provides the major access; and
WHEREAS. the Minnesota Department of Transportation has prepared a
preliminary plan for improvements at this intersection and presented it
to the Plymouth City Council; and
WHEREAS. adjacent property owners were notified of the proposed plan and
the presentation to the City Council and had opportunity to present their
comsients to the City Council.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT HERESY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH. MINNESOTA: That the concept plan prepared by Minnesota
Department of Transportation designated as Layout No. 1 dated February
27. 1992 for the intersection of Highway 55 at Xenium Lane/Northwest
Boulevard is hereby given concept approval and Minnesota Department of
Transportation is requested to complete the final layout for City
approval.
