RESOLUTION NO. 92- 23'
APPROVING AN APPEAL OF THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS RULING
FOR JEROME AND BETTY BEGIN, 3900 VINEWOOD LANE NORTH (COTTONWOOD SHOPPING
CENTER) (03-01-92)
WHEREAS, Jerome and Betty Begin have appealed a ruling by the Board of
Zoning Adjustments and Appeals denying their request to increase the
surface area of their freestanding business sign from 96 square feet to 200
square feet, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals has denied the request
by Resolution B92-1, and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the appeal by
arose and Betty Begin based on the following findings:
1. The variance criteria have been met.
2. The Variance approved is to allow wall signage with an area of up to
10 percent of the surface area of the wall to which the sign is
attached.
3. No increase in the amount of signage on the freestanding sign is
approved-
4.
