RESOLUTION 92-236
APPROVING APPLICATION BY UNION CITY MISSION/SMITH LODGE FOR A STATE OF
MINNESOTA EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT
WHEREAS, the Union City Mission/Smith Lodge proposes application to the
Minnesota Department of Jobs and Training for an Emergency Shelter Grant for
operations of the Smith Lodge; and,
WHEREAS, operations of the Smith Lodge at the Union City Mission are
consistent with the approved Conditional Use Permit for the Union City
Mission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the application by
the Union City Mission/Smith Lodge for an operating grant from the State of
Minnesota Emergency Shelter Grant Program in the amount of $50,000 for
completion of the Smith Lodge 1992 Program Budget.
Adopted by the City Council on April 20, 1992.
