HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-226A CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-226 AUTHORIZING THE PRIVATE SALE OF TAX FORFEIT PARCEL 29-118-22-31-0012 WHEREAS, Parcel No. 29-118-22-31-0012 is non -conservation land under the definitions prescribed by Minnesota Statutes; and WHEREAS, this parcel is presently tax forfeit and authorized for public sale; and WHEREAS, the adjacent property owner has expressed an interest in purchasing the property; and WHEREAS, the City Council confirms that Parcel No. 29-118-22-31-0012 is non -developable by virtue of its size; and WHEUM, the parcel is excess to the City's needs with the exception of certain easements requirements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does: 1. Authorize the private sale of this non -developable parcel to the adjacent property owner. 2. That the sale price of such parcel shall be the minimum required to pay all delinquent taxes and special assessments due against the parcel. 3. That the owners of the parcel shall grant the City of Plymouth at no cost, a storm water drainage and utility easement over the entire parcel as part of the sales transaction. 4. That the new property owner shall be required to combine this parcel with their homestead parcel for tax purposes. Adopted by the City Council on April 20, 1992.
