HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-225CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-215 RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 92-107 WHEREAS, on February 3, 1992, the City Council adopted Resolution 92-107 which authorized the conveyance of Parcels 25-118-22-14-0002 and 0055 to the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the construction and sale of low to moderate income housing; and WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised that the above referenced parcels should have remained part of the homestead of Mr. John Ayers, Parcel No. 25-118-22-14-0050; and WHEREAS, where possible, the City Council is desirous of returning property to private ownership. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, rescind Resolution No. 92-107, authorizing conveyance of the above -referenced parcels subject to the following conditions: 1. That Parcels 25-118-22-14-0002 and 0055 are substandard from a development perspective and shall be sold at private sale by Hennepin County to the adjacent property owner, or his agent, for the current appraisal amount minimum which shall be not less than any and all past due taxes and special assessments levied and owed by the parcels. 2. That Parcels 25-118-22-14-0002 and 0055 be consolidated with Parcel 25-118-22-14-0050 at the expense of the buyer as a condition of the purchase. 3. That at the expense of the buyers, a covenant be entered upon the deed of each of the above -referenced parcels which acknowledges that the parcels may not be subdivided at any time for any purpose.
