RESOLUTION NO. 92-207
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City's mainframe computer system must provide reliable service
to its users; and
WHEREAS, an uninterruptible power supply system would improve this reliance;
and
WHEREAS, funds are available within the computer reserve for the funding of
an uninterruptible power supply system; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for an uninterruptible power
supply system, bids were received, opened, tabulated according to law and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Mid Northern Electric 29,990
WHEREAS, it appears Commtech Electrical Contractors of Plymouth, Minnesota is
the lowest responsible bidder complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with Commtech, Inc. for an uninterruptible power supply
system for $24,950, and
FURTHER, that funds for the purchase of the uninterruptible power supply
system are appropriated from the computer reserve.
