HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-197RESOLUTION NO. 92-197 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NORTHWEST BOULEVARD - 54TH TO 56TH AVENUE - PHASE II CITY PROJECT NO. 106 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Northwest Boulevard - 54th to 56th Avenue Project, Phase II, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Ryan Contracting, Inc. $ 402,788.20 S.M. Hentges & Sons, Inc. 410,634.00 Latour Construction, Inc. 411,548.95 Hank Weidema Excavating, Inc. 412,577.50 Imperial Developers 437,196.60 Northdale Construction 439,680.50 C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. 489,299.35 Alber Construction, Inc. 489,860.70 Hardrives, Inc. 504,148.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Ryan Contracting, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Ryan Contracting, Inc. in the name of the City of Plymouth for Northwest Boulevard - 54th to 56th Avenue, Phase II Project, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $402,788.20. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
