HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-176CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-176 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHIN FIRST ADDITION GREER'S ORCHARD TRACTS WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate Empire Lane (also known Hope Avenue) within First Addition Greer's Orchard Tracts; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for March 16, 1992 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of March 16, 1992; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on March 16, 1992 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said street; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following street right-of-way be vacated: Empire Lane (also known as Hope Avenue) as dedicated in the plat of First Addition Greer's orchard Tracts, Hennepin County, MN. Adopted by the City Council on March 16, 1992 STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. The undersigned, being the duly qualified and appointed City Clerk of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, certifies that I compared the foregoing resolution adopted at the meeting of the Plymouth City Council on March 16, 1992 , with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a correct transcription thereof.
