HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-129RESOLUTION NO. 92-129 ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NORTHWEST BOULEVARD (FUTUP,E COUNTY ROAD 61 FROM 55TH AVENUE TO 56TH AVENUE) - PHASE II CITY PROJECT NO. 106 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on June 19, 1989, the City's Consulting Engineer, Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the construction of Northwest Boulevard from 54th Avenue to 56th Avenue and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval, and the said plans were approved on July 1, 1991; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Canstructin IL—AuLlelln an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on March 27, 1992, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center Building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
