RESOLUTION N0. 92-113
DECLARING PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING SALE
VACATED SUNSET LANE AND ADJACENT LAND
WHEREAS, during the reconstruction of County Road 6, surveying errors
were discovered in the Sunset Acres Addition; and
WHEREAS, these errors affected the existing tax parcel known as Lot 1 and
the north 25 feet of Lot 2, Block 7, Sunset Acres Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City and the current property owner have worked together to
resolve these errors; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to transfer ownership of
existing owned property along with a vacated street right of way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. That the following described property is hereby declared
surplus property:
That part of vacated Sunset Lane, as dedicated in said
Sunset Acres, lying westerly of the westerly right of way
line and its northerly extension of High Crest Boulevard
(now known as Juneau Lane), as dedicated in said Sunset
Acres;
Those parts of the following described properties:
The East 215.0 feet of Goverrunent Lot 2, Section 28,
Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota;
and
That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of said Se:tion 28 lying westerly of the
westerly right of way line and its northerly
extension of High Crest Boulevard (now known as
Juneau Lane) as dedicated in the plat of Sunset
Acres, Hennepin County, Minnesota
which lies southerly of a line drawn from a point on the west
line of the East 215.0 feet of said Government Lot 2 distant
50.0 feet northerly of the southwest corner of said East
215.0 feet to a point on the northerly extension of said
westerly right of way line distant 3.62 feet northerly of the
intersection of said northerly extension with the south line
of said Northeast Quarter of Southeast Quarter

2. That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute
a deed transferring ownership of the property to the owner
of the immediate adjacent property (Lot 1 and North 25
feet of Lot 2. Block 7, Sunset Acres Addition).
3. That the property shall be combined with Lot 1 and the
North 25 feet of Lot 2, Block 7, Sunset Acres Addition to
form one tax parcel.
