RESOLUTION NO. 92- 65
APPROVING 1992 STREET TREE TRIMMING CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the forestry division will act on 1992 street tree trimming proposal
to be carried out on city owned right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with city bid, specifications were proposed and
distributed and bid proposals were received and opened on January 2, 1992, and
WHEREAS, the following contractors received bid specifications, and two bids
were received by the city:
Asplundh Tree Expert Co. $45/hour
Golden Leaf Tree Service $48/hour
Shadywood Tree No Bid
Brad's Tree Service No Bid
AND WHEREAS, the bid of Asplundh Tree Expert Co. is in conformance with City
specifications for routine maintenance trimming of street trees and therefore
Asplundh Tree Expert Co. is declared the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Asplundh Tree
Expert Co. in the entire line itemed amount of $20,000, and further that funds
for this proposal are authorized from account no. 101-125-810.24.
