ESOLUTION NO. 92-58
APPROVING THE 1992 PAY EQUITY IMPLEMENIATION REPORT
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 471, commonly known as the
"Pay Equity Law," requires that every political subdivision of
the state shall report its actual compensation plan as of
December 31, 1991 on or before January 31, 1992 to the State
Department of Employee Relations; and
WHEREAS, said legislation provides for rule making by the
Department of Employee Relations, regarding the form and
substance of said report; and
MH6REAS, the City of Plymouth has prepared said report in
conformance with the requirements of the rulers and Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 471; and
MHEREi1S, said plan must be reviewed and approved by the City
Council prior to its submission of the Department of Employee
Relations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does:
1. Approve the 1992 Pay Equity Implementation Report
including each of the exhibits attached thereto.
2. Directs the City Manager to proceed with the submission of
the report and all of the requirements of the statute.
