HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-024CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-24 AUTHORIZING DARE CLASSROOM TRAINING TO SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS AT ST. BARTHOLOMEW SCHOOL IN 1992 WHEREAS, the City has received a request from officials at St. Bartholomew School to offer DARE classroom training to sixth graders in 1992; and 11 St. Bartholomew School serves eleven Plymouth youth; and WHEREAS, St. Bartholomew School is committed to paying the $630 costs for 1992 classroom training and materials; and WHEREAS, St. Bartholomew representatives are aware that the existing Public Safety Department personnel resources allow extension of the DARE program to St. Bartholomew for 1992 only. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, hereby authorizes the offering of the DARE program to the 1992 sixth grade class at St. Bartholomew as follows: 1. Classroom training for one hour per week (Thursdays) for the normal DARE curriculum. 2. The personnel and training material costs, $630, will be borne by the school. 3. This program shall be provided for 1992 only. Adopted by the City Council on January 6, 1992. `�
