RESOLUTION NO. 92- 2
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF
GARLAND LANE STREET RIGHT OF WAY
PLYMOUTH MEADOWS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of Garland Lane street right of
way in Plymouth Meadows Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for January 6,
1992, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of January 6, 1992; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 6, 1992, to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of Garland Lane street
right of way in Plymouth Meadows Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that street right of way was not needed
for public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following street right of way be vacated:
That part of Garland Lane lying north of the easterly extension of the south
line of Lot 10. Block 1, Plymouth Meadows Addition, Hennepin County, MN.
