HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-643CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 91-643 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A TEMPORARY ROADWAY EASEMENT OVER LOTS 20 AND 22, BLOCK 2 AND LOT 11, BLOCK 4 HERITAGE WOODS ESTATES SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a temporary roadway easement over Lots 20 and 22, Block 2 and Lot 11, Block 4, Heritage Woods Estates Second Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for October 21, 1991 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of October 21, 1991; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on October 21, 1991 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said temporary street; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCI:. OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following temporary street easement be vacated: A temporary easement for roadway purposes over, under, and across Lot 20, Block 2, Heritage Woods Estates Second Addition. Also a temporary roadway easement for roadway purposes over and across the easterly 15 feet of Lot 22, Block 2, Heritage Woods Estates Second Addition. Also, a temporary roadway easement for roadway purposes over, under, and across that part of Lot 11, Block 4, Heritage Woods Estates Second Addition which lies northerly of a line described as commencing at the northwest corner of said Lot 11; thence south 69 degrees 36 minutes 43 seconds east, record bearing, along the northerly line thereof 56.56 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence north 86 degrees 00 minutes 12 seconds west 57.46 feet to a point on the west line of said Lot 11, distant 16.28 feet southerly of said northwest corner and said line there terminating. Also a temporary easement for roadway purposes over, under, and across the westerly 15 feet of the southerly 80 feet of Lot 11, Block 4, Heritage Woods Estates Second Addition all according to the recorded plat thereof on file in the office of the County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Adopted by the City Council on October 21, 1991.
