RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
COUNTY ROAD 9/COUNTY ROAD 101 TRUNK WATERMAIN
CITY PROJECT NO. 012
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
County Road 101 - Water Tower to County Road 9
County Road 9 - Peony Lane to Vicksburg Lane
by the installation of lateral and trunk watermain and all necessary
appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $519,182.20 and
the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement
amount to $96,960.00 so the total cost of the improvement will be $616,142.20,
and of this cost the City will pay $-0- as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby
declared to be $1,453,314.11.
2. It is further determined that the following charges for water
trunk main, pumping and storage facilities and sanitary sewer
trunk facilities for the above referenced project shall be
applied to the existing land use zoning:
Water Area Residential 1,580 per acre
Commercial/Industrial 2,370 per acre
3 The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall
forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed
for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or
parcel of land within the district affected without regard to
cash valuation as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a
copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City
Clerk for public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed
assessment, notify the Council thereof.
