HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1969-407f - e VILLAGE` OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION A.FPRQVING PLANS AM SPECIFICATION$ AND ORDERING Ai1VioiSIIMENT FOR BIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the sl Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd 'f day of November, 1969. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, j Councilmen Hintz, Humphrey, Johnson and Rindseth. The following members t ij were absent: gone. Councilman Hints introduced the following Resolution and moved its 11 adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69-407 IE,REAS pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on November 3, 1969, the V.11age Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the Public Worksbuilding Plan to be located at 23rd Avenue and Niagara Lane and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; Ir NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF i PLYMOUTH: 1. "Such plana and specifications, a copy.of which are " attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby j approved, f 2. The Villaga Clerk shall prepare and cause to be in- serted in tate official paper and in the Canstruction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and spec- ifications. The advertisement shall be published for Sf ' jwo weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 2;00 P.M. on November 25, 1969 in the ;I Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and teat no ti! bids will be .considered unless sealed and filed I with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's cheek, bid bond or certified check pay- able to the Clerk for 5% percent of the amount of such bid." t a T:.. motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the ]following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson !and K,indseth. (Councilman Humphrey left the Chambers.) No one voted against.
