Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of t1le City of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the 19th day of
August 1991. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Berman, Councilmembers Helliwell and Ricker
The following members were absent: Councilmembers Vasiliou and Zitur
Councilmember Helliwell introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 91-486
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - PARKERS LAKE NORTH 6TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the developer requesting
installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Parkers Lake
North 6th Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Parkers Lake North
6th Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street
lighting, filed with the City Council on August 19, 1991, is hereby
declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance
to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 1001 of the affected property owners and
they have waived their rights to public improvement and special
assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended..
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Coimrilmemher Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: M=r Ber an, CnimcilmemhPrc Helliwell and Ricker ,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
