HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-455CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of August , 1990. The following members were present: un Mayor Bergman, Cocilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vas iliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Helliwell introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-455 INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGN WHEREAS, in order to provide for orderly movement of traffic and provide for the safety of the public it is recommended that an "All Way" stop sign be placed at 25th Avenue and Walnut Grove Lane; and WHEREAS, a petition for an "All Way" stop sign at the intersection of 25th Avenue and Walnut Grove Lane has been received and signed by 21 of the 27 occupied lots within 500 feet of the subject intersection, which exceeds the 702 requrement per City policy on stop sign installation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That an "All Way" stop be installed at the intersection of 25th Avenue and Walnut Grove Lane. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by C..n,mrilmemher 7itur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergs. Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker, Vacilinn� and 7.itur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
