HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-426Pursuant to due call Council of the City of Aum:ct CITY OF PLYMOUTH and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the Sth day 1991. The following members were present :_ilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and i ur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.91-426 ACCEPTING TOWING PROPOSALS FOR YEARS 1991-1994 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has advertised for proposals for towing and impounding of vehicles, and WHEREAS, proposals were received on July 8, 1991, publicly opened and read aloud, and the following proposals were received: North Suburban Towing $243,000.00 Kelly's Wrecker Service, Inc. 235,650.00 Plymouth Village Automotive, Inc. 165,600.00 Dick Hughes, Inc. Towing & Starting 189,450.15 WHEREAS, it appears that Plymouth Village Automotive, Inc. is the most responsible proposer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Plymouth Village Automotive, Inc. for towing and impounding services for the period August 1, 1991 through July 31, 1994 in the amount of $165,600. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:_ Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
