HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-410CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of July , 1991. The following members were presents Mavor Bergman, Councilmembers Ricker, Vasiliou and Zitur , The following members were absent: Councilmember Helliwell Councilmember 7itur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-410 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 9 AND FINAL PRODUCTION WELL NO. 13 CITY PROJECT NO. 013 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. as contractor, have entered into an agreement for Production Well No. 13, City Project No. 013, said agreement being dated July, 1990; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. That the original contract amount was $132,180. Three change orders were approved in the amount of $33,917.25 and the value of the work to date is $165,387.50 and is herewith approved. This project underran the contract amount by $709.75 or 0.4x. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for Production Well No. 13 and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 9 and Final in the amount of $17,914.97 to E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. for Production Well No. 13 is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by -Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Ricker, Vasiliou, , and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
