HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-398CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day Of 19 g _ The following members were present: Mayor rgman, Councilmembers Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmember Helliwell Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 91- 398 DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR MARK MCALISTER FOR A HOME OCCUPATION. (91040) WHEREAS, Mark McAlister has requested a Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation for resale of telephone equipment for property located at 1870 Troy Lane North; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request by Mark McAlister for a Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation for resale of telephone equipment for property located at 1870 Troy Lane North, based on the following findings: 1. The nonresidential pickup/delivery traffic generated will endanger the public health, safety, and comfort in the neighborhood that is only served by a private street not built to public street standards. 2. The use will be detrimental to the use and enjoyment of other property in the immediate vicinity for the residential purposes already permitted with the nonresidential traffic from regular pickups and deliveries. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Cotuicilmemher Ricker and upon vote being taken thereon, the ollowing voted in favor thereof: Tayor Psergman, CrnmcilmPmhPrg Vasiliou, and Zitur _ Trie following voted against or abstained None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
