Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of July ,
1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Cotmcilmembers Helliwell_ ,
Ricker,Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 91- 386
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
WELL NO. 13 PUMPING STATION AND FEEDER MAIN
CITY PROJECT NO. 013
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Well No. 13 Pumping Station and
Feeder Main, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
COMPANY TOTAL BID
Richmar Construction $ 179,260.00
Rice Lake Contracting 179,770.00
A & K Construction 182,949.50
Gilbert Mechanical 191,483.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Richmar Construction of Fridley, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Richmar Construction of Fridley, MN in
the name of the City of Plymouth for Well No. 13 Pumping Station and
Feeder Main according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $179,260.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Berman. Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vacilinu, ,
and Z i tur
The following voted against or abstained: Done
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
