HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-363CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of July , 19 91 The following members were present: ng members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 91-363 APPROVING LOT CONSOLIDATION FOR QUANTUM DEVELOPMENT INC. FOR THE BEACON HEIGHTS SCHOOL (91032) WHEREAS, Quantum Development Inc. has requested approval for a Lot Consolidation for the former Beacon Heights School site; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Lot Consolidation for property located at the former Beacon Heights School. EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS PARCEL A Commencing at the intersection of the southwesterly line of County Road No. 6 and southerly line of Section 26 then northwesterly along said road line 496.62 feet; thence southwesterly right angles with said southwesterly right-of-way line 614.03 feet; thence southeasterly at right angles 296.94 feet; thence northeasterly at right angles 300 feet to the south line of said Section 26 thence east along the south line of Section 26 372.14 feet more or less to the point of beginning, Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota. PARCEL B That part of Lot 1, Block 5, BEACON HEIGHTS FIRST ADDITION, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies northwest of a line running from a point in the northeasterly line of said Lot 1, distant 5.50 feet southeasterly from the northeast corner thereof to a point in the southwesterly line of said Lot 1, distant 175.00 feet southeasterly from the northwest corner thereof, Section 35, Township 118, Range 22. (see next page) Page Two Resolution No. 91-363 File 91032 To be consolidated as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the southwesterly line of County Road No. 6 and southerly line of Section 26 then northwesterly along said road line 496.62 feet; thence southwesterly right angles with said southwesterly right-of-way line 614.03 feet; thence southeasterly at right angles 296.94 feet; thence northeasterly at right angles 300 feet to the south line of said Section 26 thence east along the south line of Section 26 372.14 feet more or less to the point of beginning, Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota. That part of Lot 1, Block 5, BEACON HEIGHTS FIRST ADDITION, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies northwest of a line running from a point in the northeasterly line of said Lot 1, distant 5.50 feet southeasterly from the northeast corner thereof to a point in the southwesterly line of said Lot 1, distant 175.00 feet southeasterly from the northwest corner thereof, Section 35, Township 118, Range 22. FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the cconsolidation is approved by Hennepin County. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coimcilmember Helliwell and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in or thereof: Mayor BergM, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur T e following voted against or abstained None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
