HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-342CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of June , 1991. The following members were present: , Flavor Bergman Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Counc;lmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-342 CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS 15TH AVENUE - NORTH OF SOUTH SHORE DRIVE CITY PROJECT NO. 945 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted July 24, 1989 a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates with respect to the improvement to properties adjacent to 15th Avenue north of South Shore Drive; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the installation of a bituminous street with storm drainage improvements and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on December 4, 1989, a public improvement hearing was held on February 26, 1990, the project was ordered and plans and specifications were prepared; and WHEREAS, a contract for the proposed improvements was not awarded within one year from the adoption of the resolution ordering the improvement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will again consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $32,502. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 5th day of August, 1991 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ngyor Berman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, , Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
