HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-338CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of June , 1991. The following members were present: , Mayor Berman. Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Ricker its adoption: introduced the following Resolution and moved RESOLUTION NO. 91- 338 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - CHELSEA WOODS ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Chelsea Woods Association requesting installation of an ornamental residential street light in the Chelsea Woods Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Chelsea Woods Addition by the installation of a residential ornamental street light, filed with the City Council on June 17, 1991 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by COuncilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Berman. Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. , Vasiliou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
