Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of Tunn ,
1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell. ,
Ricker Vasiliou and Zit.ur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 91-336
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
PRIME DEVELOPMENT CORRECTIONS - SANITARY SEWER REBUILD
CITY PROJECT NO. 111
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Prime Development Corrections -
Sanitary Sewer Rebuild, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
CCS Contracting $ 13,360.00
F.F. Jediicki, Inc. 14,490.00
Inland Utility Construction 20,035.00
Northdale Construction 23,011.00
Glendale Contracting 24,585.00
B & D Underground 24,696.00
Penn Contracting 24,995.00
WHEREAS, it appears that CCS Contracting of New Brighton, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with CCS Contracting of New Brighton, MN in
the name of the City of Plymouth for the Prime Development Corrections
Project - Sanitary Sewer Rebuild project according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of
$13,360.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and ,
Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
