HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-319CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of June , 1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bermnan, Councilmembers Helliwell, R.irkpr Vaei 1 iau, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Mayor Bergman introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-319 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID 1991 STREET RECONSTRUCTION - PHASE I, PROJECT CITY PROJECT NO. 102 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1991 Street Reconstruction - Phase I Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: COMPANY TOTAL RM C.S. McCrossan, Inc. $ 1,083,024.65 Alber Construction 1,206,218.15 Alexander Construction 1,281,859.50 Hardrives, Inc. 1,345,922.75 WHEREAS, it appears that C.S. McCrossan, Inc. of Maple Grove, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with C.S. McCrossan, Inc. of Maple Grove in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 1991 Street Reconstruction - Phase I Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $1,083,024.65. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember.Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Berowg, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, , and 'l itur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
