Ricker. and Vasiliou rs were absent: Councilmember Zitur Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 91-279 DENYING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF DUNKIRK LANE AND HWY. 55 (91035) WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth requested consideration of Land Use Guide Plan Amendment to reclassify approximately 30 acres of CL (Limited Business) to LA -3 (High Medium Residential) and approximately 6.2 acres from LA -2 (Low Medium Density Residential) to LA -1 (Low Density Residential) located at the northeast corner of Dunkirk Lane and Hwy. 55; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the request following a duly scheduled Public Hearing and recommended denail; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny reclassification of land use guiding for The City of Plymouth for approximately 30 acres of CL (Limited Business) to LA -3 (High Medium Residential) and approximately 6.2 acres from LA -2 (Low Medium Density Residential) to LA -1 (Low Density Residential) located at the northeast corner of Dunkirk Lane and Hwy. 55, based on the following reason: I. The proposed reclassification will not result in the highest and best use of the land. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by r,. Helliwelland upon vote being taken thereon, the fo owing voted in favor thereof: Mayor BgrMM- Councilmemhers He lli ell.
