Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the .21st day of May ,
1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Coimcilmemhers Helliwell
Ricker. and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur
C:ouncilmemher Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 91- 272
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A STREET, UTILITY, AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS
DOCUMENT NO. 1661569
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a street, drainage, and utility easements in
Parcel 19-118-22-23-0005; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for May 21, 1991
in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of May 21, 1991; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on May 21, 1991, to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of a street and utility easement; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following street, utility, and drainage easements be vacated:
All those street, utility, and drainage easements created by Document No. 1661569 over
the north 30 feet of the following described property.
That part of the northwest 1/4 of Section 19, Township 118, north Range 22,
west described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said
northwest 1/4; thence east along the south line thereof 775 feet; thence
north at a right angle 363 feet; thence west at a right angle 160 feet;
thence north at a right angle 190 feet to the north line of the south 553
feet thereof; thence east along the north line of said south 553 feet to the
west line of Amber Woods; thence north along the west line of said plat to
the intersection with the center line of 34th Avenue North; thence west at a
right angle with said west line of the plat to the west line of said
northwest 1/4; thence south along the west line of said northwest 1/4 to the
point of beginning.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Cnimrilmemhpr 14P11iWP11 , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Rergman, Cgimcilmemhers Helliwell Ricker,and Vasilion ,
The following voted against or abstained: Nnnp
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
