HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-254CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6thday of May , 1991. The following members were present: Mayor Berg=, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Coiinc iImember Vasiliou introduced the follo-:ng Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-254 INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS WHEREAS, in order to provide for orderly movement of traffic and provide for the safety of the public it is recommended that stop signs be placed at certain locations; and WHEREAS, 22nd Avenue, between Dunkirk Lane and Vicksburg Lane is designated as a "Minor Collector" on the City's approved Thoroughfare Guide Plan and should, therefore, provide for through traffic movement at all residential street intersections; and WHEREAS, Black Oaks Lane is a residential street which intersects 22 Avenue, a "Minor Collector." NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That stop signs be installed at the following locations: 1. On Comstock Lane at 22nd Avenue 2. On Black Oaks Lane at 22nd Avenue 3. On Archer Lane at 22nd Avenue 4. On Zanzibar Lane at 22nd Avenue 5. On Yuma Lane at 22nd Avenue 6. On Xene Lane at 22nd Avenue 7. On Weston Lane at 22nd Avenue 8. On 22nd Avenue at Black Oaks Lane The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coimcilmemher Vasilinu and upon vote being taken _hereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Berman- Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. , Vas iIinii'_ and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
