HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-251CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he16 on the 6th day of May , 1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 91- 251 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS MEDINA ROAD STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 010 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on October 1, 1990, the City's Consulting Engineer, Donohue and Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Medina Road street and utility improvements by the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published twice, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bide will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 1991, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center Building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmemb.r Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vas i l i ol) , and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: ?none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
