HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-244CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day of April , 1921. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. The following members were absent: Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-244 ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR BASS LAKE COMMUNITY PLAYFIELD PROJECT NO. 021 AND PARKERS LAKE COMMIUNITY PLAYFIELD PROJECT NO. 022 WHEREAS, The City's consulting engineer, Brauer & Associates, has prepared plans and specifications for Bass Lake and Parkers Lake Playfields, as directed by the City Council, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part of, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 1991, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed, filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bond, or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Helliwell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: _Mayor Bergman and Councilmember Vasiliou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
