HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-227CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of April , 1991. The following members were present: , Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Helliwell introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 91-227 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS POND BC -P1 OUTLET IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 016 WHEREAS, pursuan.,`n a resolution passed by the Council on September 10, 1990, the City's Consur__ng Engineer, James M. Montgomery Consulting Engineers, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Pond BC -P1 Outlet Improvements by the installation of a pond outlet control structure and storm drainage facilities and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on May 17, 1991 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center Building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coimrilme.mher Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergnan, Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. , Va_s i_l i ou _ and Z i tur The following voted against or abstained: done Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
